An economic subsidy to mothers who go back to work

The maternity is often an obstacle for the working life of a woman. The available services are often too expensive and, on balance, the most popular choice is the one to retreat, waiting for the children to grow up.

The Lombardy Region has made available this sum, in order to support women and to their wish of maternity. It is an economic subsidy of €200 monthly for 8 months at most. It can be asked by the parents (by the father too) who come back to work after the real and continuing parental leave with a minimum duration of a month. The application can be presented within the third year of the child and not after two months of returning to work.

The economic subsidy will be obtained after showing some accounting facts of paid services to take care of the older child, but also, in the absence of expenses for the kindergarten, for the costs of preschool or after school concerning the elder child or the expenses concerning to take care of old people.

The applications can be requested by employees, irrespective of the revenue, people who live in the province of Varese and employees of micro, small or medium companies, big companies linked with micro, small or medium companies, retailing companies, will be admitted, provided that they did something  for the introduction of welfare measures. Even the applications requested by freelance mothers enrolled on the registers or to the detached management will be accepted.

About €500,000, have been attributed to our territory, for a total of 265 endowments.

The applications can be presented within the 31th December 2013 unless the resourcesfinish before, to the Asl, conciliation counter by the Direzione Sociale, via Rossi 9, Monteggia pavilion, ground floor, room 17. The opening times are from Monday to Friday, from 8,30 a.m. to 1,30 p.m.
