Queuing for a job at McDonald’s
Over 600 sent curricula vitae to secure the first 35 jobs at the McDonald’s being built opposite the stadium. The meeting place was Piazza Repubblica.
Six hundred and twenty five people had sent in their curricula vitae, to secure the 35 jobs in the McDonald’s restaurant that is currently being built in Masnago, in Via Bolchini, opposite the Franco Ossola Stadium, in Varese.
After an initial online selection, the 50 candidates who reached the “final” of this path to a job today had “live” interviews with the MacDonald’s Varese management. The appointment was this morning, 9 July, in Piazza Repubblica.
The event was part of the McItalia Job Tour, to the towns where new restaurants are scheduled to open, which were announced nationwide, a few months ago; in total, there will be 3000 new jobs, in 3 years. There are already 10 restaurants in Varese Province, with about 300 employees. The first restaurant to open in the Province was in Castellanza, in 1987.
