Journalists for three days: the BlogLab challenge returns

 A pen and a writing pad, or a tablet, a camera or video camera; choose whichever instrument you want. What matters is that you have a go. BlogLab is back, from 14 – 16 November; this journalism workshop is organised as part of the online journalism festival GlocalNews.

Like last year, the challenge is open to high school students (from year 3 to year 5) and undergraduates. Teams of four people, equipped with a camera, or a tablet, or smartphone, or any other support that can take photos or videos, can take part. The aim is to create a blog that contains articles, photos and videos, in other words, that combines the profession of the old reporter, with the most innovative instruments.

The teams will challenge each other for three days, using words and pictures, on topics that will be provided by the organisers. On Thursday, instructions will be given to everyone, and then, there will be two short meetings on Friday and Saturday morning; the prizes will be awarded on Saturday evening. This year’s headquarters are once again in Varese.
