The search for Simone Pedron continues in Italy and Spain
The young man disappeared on 22 August. Apparently, he was seen between Foncebadon and Ponferrada, along the Way of St James.
The search for Simone Pedron, the young man who disappeared from Brebbia, on 22 August, is continuing also in Spain, along the Way of St James. Simone’s family are very worried, because they have received no news for months. An appeal was repeated also during the television programme Chi l’ha visto? on Rai Tre. Simone is 17 years old, he is 1,75 m tall, thin, and has brown hair and brown eyes.
The last time he was seen, on the morning of 22 August, he was wearing green, knee-length swimming trunks and a black T-shirt. In his backpack there were jeans, a black sweater and a hunter green anorak. He left his house on his bicycle, which was later found near a stop for buses heading to Varese.
His parents immediately noticed that some of his belongings were missing, and they tried to contact him, but without success. Both of his mobile phones (two Nokias, a cheap model and an “X press”) were turned off.
Recently, thanks to the reports from a number of people who apparently met him, the possibility that Simone went to Spain to walk along the Way of St. James is also being considered.
