Regional Council makes contribution to Chiara Prize
The Council is giving €15,000.
Lombardy’s Regional Council has decided to make a contribution of €15,000 to the Chiara Prize. The literary event now has the minimum requirements to go ahead, given that, in addition to this contribution, there are also the two sponsors, Openjobmetis and Fondazione A2A, who have brought the sum available up to €25,000.

The contribution by the Region will be allocated “with the signing (within 10 days of notification of the allocation, otherwise the money will be forfeited) of a unilateral deed, with which the association Friends of Piero Chiara agrees to organise the literary prize, fully respecting the predictions indicated in the contribution application approved and funded by the Regional Council.”
The Director of the Prize, Bambi Lazzati, and the Chairman of the association, Romano Oldrini, can now schedule the whole season linked to the event, in which the singer-songwriter, Francesco De Gregori, will be among the award winners in the section “words in music”.
