Sacro Monte closed, careful to the road works

There are rocks to sort out on the road of the Sacred Mountain: the company undertaking the work needs to carry out some work in complete safety and thus access to the village will be limited. The commune blocks the traffic, but residents will be allowed to pass on Via Fincarà, while the bus rides will be done with smaller buses.

The works will take place in via del Ceppo and will lead to changes to the road and public transport.

The limitations will be from Wednesday 16th November to 6th December 2016.

BUS
Throughout the period of closure of via del Ceppo, the bus terminal of the service that goes to the Sacred Mountain will be moved to via Fincarà and the bus service will be run with buses that don’t exceed 6.704 metres.

WEEKENDS
Only in the weekends of 26th and 27th November and 3rd and 4th December, via del Ceppo will be reopened with an alternating one-way route regulated by a traffic light and the bus service will run with the normal terminus in Piazzale Pogliaghi.

RESIDENTS
As for the residents of the village of Sacro Monte, for the duration of the work, they will have access to the car park in piazza Pogliaghi going up from via Fincarà and proceeding in via Sommaruga.
