A dedicated liveblog

The most important, new item is the “liveblog”, live, multimedia coverage, that will soon be activated for each council where elections are taking place. News and interviews, as well as comments by readers and candidates, suggestions and Tweets will be published on the liveblog. To intervene directly, just register, or send a Tweet using #(nomedelvostrocomune)alvoto (for example, if you want to see your Tweet published in the section dedicated to the election in Angera, just add #angeraalvoto to your text). You can also submit problems and topics for discussion and, if you are a candidate, promote your election meetings.

Election information

On the website, you will also find the names of the Electoral Register and of the candidates for each council, links to websites, to Facebook pages, and to Facebook and Twitter accounts, and the results of past elections.

Facebook groups

And that’s not all: for each council, we have opened a Facebook group, where users can comment and publish their observations on the election campaign. You can also increase the number of the group’s members, by inviting everyone that may be interested in election news in your town.

Candidates and Electoral Registers

If you are candidates or are part of an Electoral Register and you want to appear on our special website, contact our editorial office (redazione@varesenews.it), or to join the Facebook group dedicated to your town, send the following information, as soon as possible: name of the Register, the candidate for Mayor that you support, the Register of the council candidates, the website of the Electoral Register, and if you have one, the Facebook page of the Register and of the Mayor candidate. We also remind you to send us the picture of the logo and a photo of the candidate. The deadline for the official presentation is the morning of 26 April, but if you already have the information required, you can it to us and we will publish it in real time.
