What do you do? I talk about food
Sunday 22nd November will be completely dedicated to gastronomy from the point of view of research, communication and territory promotion. Reserve your free seat in Villa Panza.
It will be a Sunday all dedicated to food culture with special guests in the unique framework of Villa Panza.
It is not anymore a secret for our followers that this year’s edition of Glocalnews will deal with the main themes of Expo, but we also have to put the limelight on the initiatives of the last part of the festival, which will take place on Sunday and everyone can be involved, not only cooking lovers or specialised journalists.
In Villa Panza there are not many seats, that’s why we invite you to reserve your seat, for the initiative you prefer, by filling in the form at the end of every event with your data (free entry).
We will start with the panel: ”Stampa e gastronomia. Ostinatamente carta: modelli e casi di successo” (press and gastronomy. Obstinately by paper: successful models and cases) (9.00-11.00 – Salone Impero – Villa Panza, piazza Litta 1).
Paper keeps on being one of the favourite tools for reading and writing recipes. What are the main differences between talking about food online and offline? Which themes have they in common? And how much does paper (publishers and editors) fear its cannibalization by digital tools?
At the same time a workshop on theme ”Inchiesta e reportage in ambito alimentare” (Investigative report in the food field) will be held in Villa Panza (9.00- 11.00 – Salotto Rosso).
Even wine and food can become an investigative report: pictures and texts, social and blog contribution journalistically built show the backstages of the complex food sector. A photographer and a journalist will reveal the tricks of the trade.
It will be followed by the panel: ”Il cibo, la comunicazione, l’ambiente e i territori” (Food, communication, environment and territory) (11.00 – 13.00 – Salone Impero – Villa Panza, piazza Litta 1).
Cooking, local products and social networks: how to share our territory in order to promote it effectively considering its typical wine and food.
The last appointment will be with the workshop ”Fotografia enogastronomica” (Wine and food photography) (11.00 – 13.00 – Salotto Rosso – Villa Panza, piazza Litta 1).
Every smartphone owner has taken a picture of what they have in their dish at least once. What does photographing food mean? How and why are they doing it? This is what will be explained by someone who has turned this collective mania into a real job.
